Hi, I’m Nadine, your motivational coach during the most important training mission you’ll ever have! I am delighted that you have come here for inspiration and guidance so let me tell you a bit about myself so we can connect through this website. This way we’ll feel like we know each other!
I live in New England so the winters here are a bit of a challenge for exercising outdoors so I am a member of a gym for days when I want to work out inside. Outside I run, walk, hike, ride my bike, play basketball and anything else I can think of to mix up my activity. Inside I run on the treadmill, ride the bike and my favorite is the elliptical machine. I am a sweaty mess at the end of that! I also use the weight machines, free weights, jump rope, medicine balls, kettle bells and resistance bands. Admittedly I am a complete failure at Zumba so I tend to stay away from the organized classes and stick to my own cardio routines!
As you can see I vary my workouts including where, when and what. It’s how you avoid the dreaded “plateau”!
At one point in my life I was 75 pounds overweight which stemmed from a foot injury that led to a sedentary lifestyle which led to depression about myself which led to more eating. It was when I decided to turn my life around and focus on better health, losing weight and feeling good that led me to a career in the health and fitness field. I’ve never turned back and I am the happiest, healthiest me ever.
So why am I helping brides-to-be? Because I’ve been a bride. I know the stress, the desire to look my best, wanting to fit into my dress! I also know how to get you there.
I’m a C.N.S. (certified nutrition specialist) through Ashworth College, a Personal Chef through USPCA, and a Motivational Coach.
